EN: The United Nations has it own history too, which beggining goes back half a century behind:
In 1941, the presidents Franklin D. Roosevelt (United States) and Winston Churchill (Great Britain) met to create an organization to help to support the peace in the world because the war they was suffering in that moment against   Germany. In 1945 joined the leader of the Soviet Union, Stalin.
To these principal countries others were joining and, in 1945, the ONU was established thanks to 51 countries that put in agreement to sign the "United Nations Charter"
The United Nations Charter is the most important document of the organization. It was sign in 1945, in the city of San Francisco, United States. After the signature, the United Nations was officially established, that was born to be "the house of all the citizens of the world".
The principal purpose of the Charter is being the guide or the frame of reference to prevent the humanity from suffering more world wars, as the happened ones in the 20th century.
